Scavenger Hunt: Round 26

“Searching is half the fun: life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. ”
― Jimmy Buffett

The reveals have just concluded for the 26th round of the photography scavenger hunt that I began participating in during the 16th round.

The theme for this round of the hunt was The Wizard of Oz.  All ten words had something to do with the Wizard of Oz.  Words for this round were:  courage, coward, curtain, home, monkey, rainbow, road, selective color, sepia, and wizard.

Participants create images for as many of the words on the list as they can.  I created eight images for this round.

As you can see, my dog, Maui, was the star of this round for me.

The announcement of the “winners” of this hunt began today.  The truth is, all participants in this hunt are truly winners.  This online community encourages creativity.  Participants, along the way, have formed great friendships and bonds.  In the spring, I attended my first Scavenger Hunt Meet up in Orlando.  It was my first, but not the first for many.  These meet ups allow participants to form great relationships.  I am truly thankful for this supportive, creative community!

Would you like to be a WINNER?  Please join us  for Round 27!  The sign ups for Round 27 will begin Saturday, December 7 at noon (Chicago Time).  In order to be notified of the hunt details, you can subscribe here.

I hope to see your images in the next hunt reveals!
