Strawberry Festival

“The average strawberry has about 200 seeds.”

This morning, I enjoyed my very first visit to the SC Strawberry Festival, which is held in my hometown,

Fort Mill, South Carolina.

There have been festival events going on since April 28.  Today is the last day for the strawberry festival.

My good friend, Darlene, and I started our morning at the festival enjoying the car show.  There were many cars on display.  Car owners could be seen buffing their vehicles to give them the perfect shine.

We could not go to the strawberry festival without purchasing some delicious, ripe strawberries.

If the strawberries weren’t enough to satisfy your love for sweets, you were still in luck.

The strawberry festival was a great place for children.  Kids could enjoy the playground, get their faces painted, and enjoy the rides.

There were also many vendors selling food and merchandise.

For those who live in the area, it is not too late to visit the SC Strawberry Festival.  There will be events going on until 10:00 this evening.

If you are not able to attend this year, be sure to put the SC Strawberry Festival on your calendar for next year.
