The Rose Garden

“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorns have roses.”
― Alphonse Karr

One of the things that I have enjoyed most during the past two months is walking throughout my neighborhood.  I have made it a point to rise before the sun in order to get one walk in before my work day begins.  My dog, Maui, and my camera have been my companions for these walks.

There is an incredible, lovingly tended garden in my community.  It is The City of Tega Cay’s Living Memorial Gardens.  I have found such beauty and peace each day while visiting the gardens.  One of the features of the garden is a rose garden.  Each day I find different delights in the rose garden.

I will always be so grateful for all who make this wonderful, peaceful garden possible for all to enjoy, remember our amazing Veterans, and marvel at the beauty that we are surrounded by each day.  I hope that you find a place that will help you surround yourself with beauty and peace.
