“‘Cause you’ll be in my heart
Yes, you’ll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more”
This past weekend I had the opportunity to try my hand at newborn photography. It is a day I had been looking forward to for months. One of my favorite coworkers, Melissa, had her first child earlier in February. She and I had planned this photo shoot for some time.
While my friend and her husband were doing all of the things new parents do to prepare for a new baby, I prepared to take newborn baby pictures. I scoured the internet looking for the types of images photographers take of newborns, I bought props, and I even took a Kelby One class about newborn photography.
I was so excited to meet Melissa’s new daughter, Kinsley Rose! As you can clearly see, she is absolutely adorable! She was so cooperative during our time together. Many thanks to her mom and dad for their help!
Although I spend a great deal of time with young children, I really have not been around babies much since my son, Jeremy, was a baby. Spending time in Kinsley’s beautiful nursery brought back so many precious memories.
I loved seeing all of her outfits.
I felt so honored to be able to share a morning with Kinsley Rose and her parents. Time moves so incredibly quickly. I was happy to be able to capture a few moments in time to share with Kinsley’s family.
Kinsely’s St. Patrick’s Day outfit was hanging ready for March. I wish Kinsely and her parents all of the best of luck in all that they do!
When looking for a quote for this post, I chose the lyrics from Phil Collin’s song, You’ll Be In My Heart. My visit with Kinsley took me back in time to the nursery of my “baby”, Jeremy. In that nursery, we listened to You’ll Be In My Heart time and time again. My “baby” will turn 21 years old next week.
Enjoy every second with your beautiful babies! Time goes by in a blink!
