Composite Twenty-nine: Christmas Card 2018

Each year, I work to help create two Christmas/Holiday cards.  One card is our family Christmas card and the second one is for my husband, Randy’s, real estate business.  We  work hard each year to try to come up with an idea that will be fun and unique in comparison to

the ones we have sent before.

I thought it would be fun to take a stroll down memory lane for the last five years of Randy’s business holiday cards.

One of my favorite cards was created and sent in 2014.  This was near the beginning of the Elf on a Shelf craze.  We decided that Randy would make a wonderful Elf.

In 2015, I used a newly acquired skill to create Randy’s card.  Using many images with Randy in different locations, I layered the images and erased away the parts of each that I did not need.

Since Randy wears Hawaiian style shirts almost daily, we went with a tropical theme in 2016.

In all of the previous years, my photomanipulation had been minimal.  We decided to do much more with photomanipulation for our 2017 holiday card.

This year we used my childhood dollhouse to create our holiday image.

As I look at these cards I remember a year or two before these cards that we asked a friend to use Photoshop™ to put a Santa hat on Randy’s head because I had absolutely no idea how to do that.  I hope to continue to make progress each year.
